Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, changing linens, and cleaning.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Special Skills or Certifications Required

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in home health care or a similar setting is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.

Special Equipment to be Operated

• Medical Equipment: Familiarity with basic medical equipment such as blood pressure monitors, glucose meters, and mobility aids.
